The upper image [symbol: a square with a spiral pattern within a circle] is meant to be the symbol of innocence; the lower one is an image of love's expression in matter...

22/4 16 tavlan... Det undre partiet på No 16 bildar liksom kropp, själ och ande i dvala. Anden kan naturligtvis ej sova, men genom att själen bringats ner, förnimmer den ej sig själv... Elipsen hålles i en skär färg asket under påskaftonsglädjens fröjder. Den övre bilden [symbol: kvadrat med spiralmönster i cirkel] skall vara oskuldens symbol, den nedre är en bild av kärlekens uttryck i materien...
