The present picture depicts evolution; above stand the two, the man and the woman, who still remain â just as in the greatest freedom of action â within UW, and have not yet decided upon the descent, where tempters draw them in the form of UW workers, and beneath them stand two representatives of wisdom, and at the bottom one holding the globe, a deva (archangel?)... Here are depicted the first human beings who make use of their organs of love; this is the UW ascetic and the vestal elevation, in the sense that they no longer approach one another physically but only spiritually, and, under all the demons' attempts at temptation, keep themselves apart, not sharing in the UW work. They are then ready to merge into eros, that is, into one... The tempter of love here is a Boa Constrictor that attacks from behind. The owls = symbols of wisdom. The four-part circle is an indescribably beautiful symbol. The white colour in which it is executed is the most sacred of all colours. The vitality of the second series is expressed in a vividly coloured ascetic and vestal image with 7 colours in the form of hearts within a circle.

teckna en UW symbol. Trosstark skulle jag vara och ut-
föra det som Äterstod, sedan skulle auran omdanas inom
mig⊠Den nuvarande bilden framstÀller evolutionen,
